I took my MUstang in for tire balance and rotation. Also a nitrogen fill.
Got there at 6:30 and they opened at 6:45. Got right in. At about 7:45 she came and said a rear wheel stud was stripped and the car was going over to the Service side. We went back just as the technician was removeing the hub cap. Turned out just to be the nut. They didn't have one in stock, so they went and got one. (keep in mind I had to be at work at 9:00). At about 8:35 the car was driven out. 8:40 I went up to service counter and the lady was at a different station because her computer was down. At the new station, it wouldn't print an invoice. She left for a minute or two, came back, gave me my paperwork and said "have a nice day". There was no charge.
It just shows anyone can have problems, it is how a business handles those problems that count. In the words of Arnold, "Ill be back"..

Glad to hear things worked out. I went in the day before we went up to the RMMR and took advantage of the free Nitrogen fill. In and out with no problem. I also ordered a dome light cover for my 1999 Ranger pickup. Between the discount and the $10 credit on the Owner Advantage card they gave us I got a $35 part for $5. I had them quote installing a Ford Racing power upgrade package (Cold Air Intake, Tuned Mufflers, Pro-Cal Tuner and Performance oil filter). Unfortunately they were $400 MORE than what Longmont Ford quoted. Just got my car back from Longmont Ford today. Runs GREAT! They will offer the same discount to all NCMCC members. Talk to Chris Rusk, Service Advisor, Very knowledgeable about Mustangs and performance upgrades. Great to work with. Dave
