I am new to the newer stangs, and I have a question. This may sound trivial to some, but I need help. The previous owner of my 97 had put 40th. Anniv. emblems on the car. Are these emblems adhesive or are they through with the clips or nuts. I need to get these off.
Thanks, Mike

Welcome to the group.., The fender emblems are adhesive backed, and can be safely removed with 3M adhesive Remover and some dental floss or fishing line. The 3M Adhesive remover is safe for paint, and is available at any auto paint supply store. Let it soak for a while (about 15-30 min), and then use the dental floss to cut through the weakened adhesive. Do not try to rush the process, it may take more than one application of remover. Once the emblem is off, the adhesive remover can be used to remove the residual adhesive.
