I bought a 1984 Mustang convertible in 1998. It has been an on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off- project for the last 12 years. It has never left the garage for the last 12 years. To get myself motivated, I have registered it for this years RMMR.
Today it moved out of the garage and went on a 30 minute trip around the neighborhood on its own power, and without any surprises. Before today, it was just a glorified collection of parts. Today it is a Mustang.
Sending it out for a new coat of paint , and then I will get the fun of working out all of the little details so that it will be running strong this summer.

Where are you getting the pain done?

Kevin, the "pain" will continue until circumstances can be improved. My "" paint "" will be done by Grant at MAACO. Grant painted my 89 last fall, and I am satisfied with it, so he will get this one.

Isn't the "pain" generally located in the left or right rear pocket? ;D

Not just the pockets, but I find the pain sometimes in the garage.
