"I am sure the ride will be a little harsher"
I'd recommend finding something in a urethane if possible. I'd suspect that the aluminum bushings will give a pretty solid feel and transmit a ton of noise and harshness into the chassis. But I agree that it will definitely respond better.

The subframe bushing options are poor. Some people have run hocky pucks. There seems to be differing opinions on how bad the noise and harshness is with them in. Some say no big deal, others say it is terrible. I might be able to find slightly stiffer than stock.
RMMR is the farthest the car will most likely ever drive, so I am not terribly worried, as long as it isn't too bad. Wish I could get a ride in one first, but just don't see the chance for that.

I would check energy suspension for a poly alternative. Aluminum sounds a little harsh.

I spent some time this weekend working on one of the butterfly valve housings. I was thinking I would polish them, but it will be more work than I want, so they are going to get cleaned and painted. I think I will paint the throttlebody as well.
I got a coat on the new MAF, so that is done.

I got the letters in the intake manifold painted, and some of the clamps polished. I will try get get some pictures posted when I get back into town.
