I am trying to replace the springs and struts on the SHO. It would be easier if I could get the old ones out.

Taurus's have a coil-over strut, right ? Make sure you use the proper tools and proceedures so that you don't get a spring implanted into your forehead. Also have 911 on your speed dial. Good luck.

I just can't get the old one out of the pocket on the spindle. It is almost high enough, but not quite.

Kevin, I can't picture exactly what you are talking about, but I have some spring compressors if they would help. Ken
