Welcome to the FORUM. That is really a nice clean looking ride you have, but I'm quite partial to the 2002 GT version. Might we see you at our meeting tomorrow morning in Fort Collins? Ken

Unfortunately, no. I'm sorry about that! But I'm hoping to make March's meeting! I had to work on a project this morning. I'm doing a mild restoration on a Jeep Cherokee right now and I had to squeeze in some work. I NEED to finish that thing soon. hahaha

Hopefully the Jeep project went well. Now you have time for more Spring Mustang projects. See you next month. After our meeting next month, we are going to Loveland to get a quick tour of a custom chrome plating shop.

Jim: yeah thats me! Ken: The Jeep is a car I bought as a winter beater for $300 that didn't run and that had sat outside in Colorado's constantly up-and-down weather for almost three straight years. I've got about 300 hours into the project and I'm only about 30 or so more away from being done (thank God!). It's been a very low budget mild restoration. The total cost has been less than $1,100 including the Jeep itself, so I'm fairly happy! I've put on four brand new tires, installed a new starter, new air box, new U-Joints, new 1/4 wing window, new dash, new steering column, new sheet metal in about 3 spots due to rust holes, some new fiberglass for the rear hatch, and a Rustoleum paint job that has turned out quite nice. Here's a couple before and after shots. 1990 Jeep Cherokee Laredo, 4.0 I-6, 4x4, 149,765 miles: Last quarter wing window was shattered. Tail Light Color Change

Huge project and nice job, especially on such a low budget.
The first photos make it look like a Delorean from Back to the Future.

Welcome.
Love the stang....makes me miss my 04'. Looks like you have done a pretty good job on the Jeep as well. Wish I could do some paint work. That is definitely an art.

I'm new to the site and would like to swap my cats for delete pipes. What can I expect for power? Noise? And difficulty in performing the swap?
