Afternoon everybody, Just joined the forum and looking forward to attending the next meeting on the 2nd. Spring is here and I'm ready to pull the trigger on paint for my 67. I live in Fort Collins and wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations for a local shop/guy/gal to complete my mustang. This certainly won't be a show car, so looking for a quality job, but with an eye on affordability. Still need a bit of bodywork, but almost all sheetmetal is new with the exception of the rocker panels and the and the roof. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Doesn't have to be a professional shop, a side project or retired enthusiast who takes on occasional projects would work great as well. Thanks. Attachments:

Hi Sleeper I had my 66 Fastback painted at Midwest Auto Body in Longmont. Rich, the owner, is an encyclopedia of knowledge on the vintage stuff and has done a phenomenal job. I couldn't be happier with my car's paint job. He isn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for

Thanks so much. I'll try and swing by there in a week or so.
Could I give him your name as a referral source so that you may get some love back the next time you take some work his way?
Thanks for the recommendation.

Hi Sleeper, you might consider Karl Witchie at Karl's Classic Restorations - 303-425-0814 - Located in Arvada, CO. He does top notch restoration work. I've seen several cars he's done. One of my Datsun 240z buddies has had Karl do the body & paint work on a couple of Z's. A bit of a drive from Ft. Collins, but may be worth a look.

Thanks so much. I work down in Denver frequently as well, so interested in checking out multiple options. The attached photo is the general color scheme I'm going for, accompanied by a black interior. Attachments:
