I thought I would try to document what I hope to get done on the Stang before Spring. I might even be able to put up some pictures.
The list: 1. Hydro Clutch 2. Line Lock 3. Oil Pressure Gauge 4. Speedo Cable 5. AC system 6. Pax rear quarter window regulator 7. Fuel tank?
There is more that needs done I am sure, but that is more than I may get to. I should have started the list with garage cleanup.
This should be fun!!

The hunt is on for a Hydro Clutch kit. I am only able to do a small amount of looking right now, with work being unusually busy. That should calm down in a week or so, and I should be able to focus a bit more on it.
The big question at the moment is, to do a hydro throwout beering, or a slave attached to the bell housing. I would rather not pull the transmission, so I am leaning that way. We will have to see though.
On another note, I am tempted to add a Head and Cam upgrade to the list. That is definatly something I would farm out.

I'll be anxious to see the progress and am willing to help if there is something I am knowledgeable about. Ken

The fun continues. The word I have been getting is that the manufacturer of the slave cylinder is out of business, and it has effected all of the kits. I just found this one on line, and will call when they are open and I get a chance. www.autoworksracing.com/67%2070%20musang%20T%205%20hydraulic_clutch_kit.htmI will tryt hem and a couple of other places. If that does not work. I might have to go back to the hydro throwout bearing. I really don't want to drop the transmission.

I called them and left a message. So far no call back.
I will try some more places next week, or this weekend.

I got a call back from Auto Works yesterday. Their story follows others I have heard. The comany that made one of the componenets went out of business, and took their patient with them. I would think someone would have bought it.
They have a new design that should be out in 2 - 3 weeks. They will call back when it is ready to ship.
If I find something else in the meain time, I will do so, but at least it looks like I might have some hope.

Hey Kevin,
What will you be getting in this hydraulic kit?
I'm assuming there will be a master and a slave cylinder, as well as some kind of mounting bracket to attach the slave to the engine/trans, and a hydraulic line.
Will this kit be designed to function on your engine/trans combo? Or is it a generic kit?
Hopefully it will be everything you'll need to get the car up and running again. If you need some assistance when the parts arrive, let me know. I can probably come over to give you some help with it.

It is designed for the engine and transmission I have. It is supposed to be a complete kit, but we all know there is always something small they assume you have.
I will let everyone know when it shows up.
I also ordered this morning a Line Lock and new speedo cable.

Well Kevin, Did you receive the hydraulic clutch kit?
If so, how does it look? How soon will you get it installed?

I got it late last Saturday. It looks good. I have it mounted in the car, and am now trying to understand the poor directions on adjustments. I need to get fluid into it, and bleed it. There are some engineering challenges with it. They put the bleed port in a place that will make a huge mess when I bleed it, so I am looking for something to deal with that. I think I will get some vinyl tubing to route the fluid to a container.

That's what you do Kevin.
I have a length of Tygon tubing that I attach to the bleeder valve and run into a receptacle to collect the juices. This makes for a rather neat operation and you should'nt have a mess of fluid all over.
I started doing this back in the day when we had the '40 Ford with the 454 Chevy. We had a custom hydraulic clutch setup that needed bleeding and the hose thing worked real good. Also worked on my road race motorcycles when I bled the brakes between race weekends. Should work good for you too.
